7. ACCOUNT DELETION
Users have the right to request permanent deletion of their VBOX account and associated data.
How to Request Account Deletion
To delete your account, you can:
- Use the "Delete Account" option in your account settings within the VBOX app
- Send an email to privacy@thevbox.in with the subject line "Account Deletion Request"
- Include your registered email address and username in the request
What Data is Deleted
Upon account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Profile information (name, email, phone number, profile picture)
- Uploaded content (videos, thumbnails, scripts)
- User preferences and settings
- Watch history and viewing patterns
- Comments and interactions
- Subscription information
Data Retention for Legal Purposes
Some data may be retained for legal, regulatory, or security purposes, including:
- Transaction records and payment history (retained for tax and accounting purposes as required by Indian law)
- Data required for ongoing legal proceedings or disputes
- Logs necessary for fraud prevention and security investigations
- Anonymized analytics data that cannot be linked back to you
This retained data will be kept only for the minimum period required by law and will be securely stored with restricted access.
Deletion Timeline
- Immediate: Your account will be deactivated immediately upon request
- Within 30 days: All personal data will be permanently deleted from our active systems
- Within 90 days: Data will be removed from backup systems and archives
You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion process is complete.
Important Notes
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- Any pending payouts will be processed before account deletion
- Content shared with other users (comments, collaborations) may remain visible but will be anonymized
- If you have active subscriptions, they will be cancelled, and no refunds will be provided for unused periods
8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
VBOX is not for users under 13.
For creators, minimum age = 18 years.
We may terminate accounts found to be used by minors.

CREATOR MONETIZATION POLICY
Creators can earn through ads, subscriptions, brand deals, and in-app monetization tools.
1. Eligibility
To monetize, creators must:
- Be 18+
- Follow community guidelines
- Have no major violations
- Complete KYC
- Upload original content
2. Monetization Channels
Creators can earn via:
- Ad Revenue Share (70/30 model)
- Viewer Subscriptions
- Brand Integrations
- In-App Promotions Earnings
- AI Tool Marketplace (future)
3. Revenue Share
VBOX retains a platform fee for hosting, tools, and distribution.
Revenue share may vary by:
- Geography
- Content category
- Premium features
Creators will always be informed of any changes in advance.
4. Content Rules for Monetization
You cannot monetize:
- Reused/re-uploaded content
- Copyrighted material
- Hate speech / violence / misleading content
- Sexual or adult material
- Harmful activities
Repeated violations may lead to demonetization.
BRAND PARTNERSHIP GUIDELINES
Creators collaborating with brands must follow these rules:
1. Transparency
Clearly label paid partnerships as:
- "Paid Partnership"
- "Sponsored"
- "Ad"
2. No Misleading Claims
Creators must not:
- Promote harmful products
- Make false claims
- Encourage unsafe behavior
3. Brand Safety
Brand content should not include:
- Hate
- Adult themes
- Alcohol, drugs, or illegal activities
- Political propaganda
4. Clear Deliverables
Creators must deliver:
- On-time posts
- Honest representation
- Agreed number of episodes or mentions
VBOX may mediate disputes but is not responsible for contract outcomes.
PAYOUT POLICY
1. Payment Cycle
Creator payouts occur monthly.
Payouts are processed within 10 business days after the cycle ends.
2. Minimum Withdrawal Threshold
Creators must earn at least ₹500 to withdraw.
Below that, earnings carry over.
3. KYC Requirement
Payouts will not be released until:
- PAN verification
- Bank account verification
- Identity proof
4. Payment Methods
We support:
- Bank transfer
- UPI
- Other supported methods depending on region
5. Deductions
- Taxes (TDS) as per Indian law
- Platform fees (where applicable)
- Reversal for invalid/violating content earnings
6. Clawback
If earnings were generated through:
- Policy violations
- Copyright infringement
- Fake engagement
VBOX may reverse, withhold, or claw back payouts.
7. Disputes
Creators may raise payout issues within 14 days of receiving the payment summary.
